OEM Gaggia Bottomless Portafilter 58mm - Authentic Italian Portafilter with 3 Cup Filter Basket for Gaggia Classic Pro + Gladwise Coffee Card

I wanted a bottomless portafilter for my gaggia and a friend recommended this one. Glad I took his advice bc it’s awesome. It looks just like the factory original, fits the machine perfectly, and works well. With no bottom you can see if you’re getting channeling and cleanup is super easy. The basket that comes with it isn’t bad either. I’ve had some super tasty shots from it. It’s much less expensive than some of the aftermarket portafilters which is a big plus for me. I’ve tried a bunch of different portafilters over the years and I like the oval shaped one from Gaggia, it’s really comfortable to use. If you’re on the fence about getting this one, just do it. You’ll save some cash, and get a portafilter that stays true to the original design of the machine. Five stars, highly recommend!

Original order portafilter basket had a ding and it was missing the Gladwise card. Amazon made it right the replacement order. Great fit and performance. A must have if you have if you have GCP.

Excellent product. Allows for multiple shots of espresso at once which is my reason for ordering.

Just ordered this for my Gaggia Classic Evo Pro. This does fit despite it saying it's only for older models. Easy to use and clean. Even has the Gaggia logo on it. Mine came with a few dents along the rim on the bottom, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, but otherwise a nice upgrade from the original portafilter.

Vital for the new barista OR Instagram shot-puller. In order to dial-in your puck prep and ensure you are distributing and tamping correctly, a bottomless portafilter is an essential tool. It was with this tool that I was able to verify that I was not coming anywhere close to even grounds distribution. I was then able to fix my WDT tool and tamping methods until I had consistent and even flow/rate. At that point you can begin really experimenting with pull times and grind setting.

Looked great, seemed to fit properly, every usage resulted in basically free-flowing water thru the coffee, making a huge mess and resulting in unusable coffee. My other baskets with identical coffee grind size etc do not do this, so something is very off with this product in particular

Great portafilter, terrible coffee basket that is way oversized. With the right basket this thing pulls beautiful espresso shots!

Very good, nothing to report that is out of the ordinary. Seems to be holding up, no loose elements or things falling apart after about 1 year of use
