Direct fit for me.
Ordered the ones I needed. Popped the old ones off, popped the new ones on and presto, no more fighting with the camper bed. We have a pretty heavy queen mattress in our camper and these hold it up with ease. Now we'll see how long they last. If I get a couple years out of them I'll be happy.
