Works!
PURCHASE DATE: 08MAY17PRICE PAID: $16.99REVIEW DATE: 15AUG17My wife and I purchased a home that needed a full bathroom remodel. My wife being a hospitality designer designed the bathroom and her vision included a copper color vessel sink with a brushed bronze pop up sink drain. Due to the high prices of vessel sinks and lack of options at some of the home improvement stores she looked online and found this one.Universal hardware for the vessel sink made it easy to install. Do not forget to order a mounting ring for your vessel sink if yours that you order does not come with one. Also, make sure you purchase the drain without overflow for the vessel sink. Water spots are not easily noticeable. No leaks and pop-drain feature holds water when activated. If any issues arise I will update this review.PLEASE NOTE: I do these reviews to help people out. Defective and seller will not replace it! Beware.
I ordered two of these. They are lovely. But when the pop-up feature of one did not work, I discovered that there is a NO RETURN policy. How can that be when it is defective? And it is labelled on Amazon as Amazon's Choice - isn't that an endorsement?

Thin threads !
product looked well built. silicone type seals were very good. I think this product would have been top notch were it not for the fact that lower stem threads were so thin that it really was not designed for the structural stresses of a vessel sink. I only found that out after installing it in our new lower bathroom where we have hardly used. About 6 months after installation the vessel started leaking, found out the threads had split. I've been doing plumbing for 15+ years and know not to overtighten....,

vessel sink stopper
I purchased this separate of my vessel sink and faucet. The faucet I purchased is shiny chrome... the stopper is brushed nickle. Eh. Oh well... it's done now. So, my best advice would be to double check all your finishes. This stopper is a press and release... the stopper is little dome shaped. It works well. This is my first vessel sink so I am learning as I go along - I do like the press and release of this stopper. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Save your money, do not buy!!
First of all, the one page of how to photograph is useless. The pictures are poorly taken and they do not help.Secondly, we managed to install this piece but it started leaking. We got a plumber out to take a look and he said the size of this piece was non standard for bathroom and did not fit the connecting parts. In addition to this, it is missing a gasket. Something I jade to even noticed until the plumber pointed it out. Between trying installing it the first time it leaking and us having to get a plumber out to have a look, the return window has closed. So I’ve basically lost my $$. I have a product that does not work, and I now have to go and purchase a new one from the store-something I should have done in the first place.

Not for sinks with a built in overflow drain but great otherwise!
This pop-up drain seemed like it was perfect. It appeared well made but due to my own error in not knowing what I needed to order I had to send it back. My sink has an overflow drain that needs to drain into the pop up valve. Well now I know. This one wouldn't work for me so I returned it without hassle, and ordered the identical version that did include the hole for the overflow drain to empty into the drain. I chalked this up to user error. This one appeared just like the one I did end up using so I'm sure it would work great for the right situation!

Good value, probably need to use some silicone caulk.
Got this because it was recommended for the vessel sink that I purchase. I will say using the silicone gaskets that were supplied were not sufficient. It leaked pretty quickly, within a minute. I then tried plumbers putty. That was a little better, but it leaked eventually within a few minutes. So, I had to resort to using silicone caulk...that puppy ain’t leaking now!!!Anyway, directions for installation were mediocre at best, but it wasn’t hard to install.

Do not use Drains with "OVERFLOWS" as your vessel sink will leak.
So first the plumber wanted the 1.75 inch hole in my granite to be drilled to 3 inches to allow the sink to sit directly on the granite. When we realized that we could use the Yodel drain and take off the nut, then when putting the drain in under the granite, the sink leaked thru the overflow, so apparently this vessel sink Milgore, and granite that is 3cm, cannot use an overflow drain. So what happens when you have your faucet on without an overflow, you are screwed, because the sink will overflow. So now all of this time, because of the Sink Seller was not clear imho to only purchase drains without overflows. M
