This is one of those products that you didn't know you needed.There are lots of plastic types of these phone mounts which appear at a price point lower than this one. If you want one that will hold your phone securely it needs to have a strong spring. With a strong spring and a plastic mount, I just felt that with the pressure you need to exert on opening the jaws to hold the phone resulted in a lot of bending of the mount which potentially could end up with it snapping as you try. I looked at this unit and immediately decided that this was a professional unit and would last for ever. It's lightweight, strong and looks beautiful. Its quick and simple to fix to a tripod or monopod and once fixed is as solid as a rock. I'm confident my very expensive phone won't drop off and hit the floor. You have three different screw attachment points which may prove useful and places for adding three extras like lights, microphones etc and its strong enough not to bend with a big video light.You have infinite minute adjustment for angle and it switches easily from portrait to landscape and its easy to keep the horizon straight.Its an excellent unit and worth every penny. If you're bothered about price, its just the difference between the plastic one and this one and it all comes down to an extra £10 for supreme safety of your £1k phone.

I have bought loads of these type of phone mounts, but this is by far the best. Simple design, and as usual, simple is best. Solidly built and no issues after months of abuse.

Well made and does the job. Metal less likely to break than plastic. Fits well on my camera tripod. It is quite expensive.

Holder is very stable, robust and made from good quality materials, it is easy to attach the phone, it's flexible, quick and easy to setup the shots I want to take, and most importantly, it holds my phone securely in any position I set with a strong grip, the last thing I want to be worrying about is my phone falling out; with this holder I'm confident that won't happen, and I have used this many times over recent months.

This is a really nicely designed and manufactured phone mount, a real step-up in quality and feel from the more basic phone mounts. Nice and versatile mounting options, lovely smooth movement, satisfying ball detents and is very rigid when locked. Feels like it will last.

Like a lot of these devices one needs to exercise caution as it will trap unwary fingers. However if you use the bulk of your iPhone to prise the spring-loaded jaw up you should have no problems. The item seems well made and fits on both my tripods firmly.

Really nice little phone holder for a tripod stands.I have been using this on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and straight out of the box and into your hand you know you’ve bought something that is well made and very reasonably priced.It’s a metal construction, the locks are strong and stay in place and there’s a detect when switching between portrait and landscape so you know when you have it in the right position for shooting.I bought a second one because of how good the first one was, it gives me options for adding other cameras when recording footage for my daughter’s business.I read a lot of reviews of this and other holders and I was immediately drawn by the positive nature of most reviews and how much more positive the reviews were vs other phone holders.My phone feels secure in it and I have no worries about pressing record and leaving it while operating my DSLR, I use this to capture other angles
