SMALLRIG EVF Mount Camera Monitor Mount Kit with NATO Rail and 15mm Rod for SmallHD 502HD/Zacuto Gratical HD/BMVA - 1903

I can't afford the uber-expensive monitor arm from Zacuto, so I bought this to rig up a Z CAM EVF to a Panasonic EVA1 camera. The parts are overall pretty good, but the build quality is far below Zacuto gear. I think it will hold up with moderate use, but it isn't as "smooth" to operate as I'd like. BTW, I use a LOT of parts from SmallRig, and generally find their stuff to be a great value. I have experience issues with their tiny screws failing (WHY use such tiny screws that have minimal holding surface?), but for the most part I think their stuff is a really good alternative to expensive professional gear. You get what ya pay for, so I adjust expectations accordingly.

It’s great. I use it with my tilta top handle to mount my 7” RED ultra brite on my Gemini. Works perfectly once you ass a lock washer to the bolt that you screw into the monitor.As with most smallrig stuff it will be very beneficial to take out all of the screws and replace them with a bit of blue loctite added to them.

Well designed and versatile monitor (or other accessory) mount. The quick release and adjustment knobs are strong and hold the weight of a 5” monitor/recorder and battery without budging. I use mine with an Atomos Ninja V. I have tested it with the Shogun Inferno monitor/recorder as well, however, I would be a bit more hesitant about running that amount of weight without external power.

I definitely recommend this quality product to you, it costs a bit because you are buying quality and I can assure you that my BMPCC 4k is secure. :)

This is a must have. I use it with my 5 inch SmallHD monitor & Small Rig cage for the monitor.

So Small Rig sent me this unit and the monitor mount was permanently stuck on the quick release plate and therefore useless, The same day that it came I asked to return it and they've been sending me through the wringer.It doesn't adjust up and down like advertised. I reached out to small rig and I haven't heard anything from them. Days later They asked me to send proof of purchase, I did that.Days later They asked me to upload a photo of my product, I did that. I haven't heard from them since! like yeah, it would be great if they can correct this issue ASAP!
