I have been loving this cleaning system. I use one for my .308 and one for my .22. Seems to thoroughly clean the barrel.

I shoot a lot, sometimes 2-3 times a week. One of the things I get tired of is cleaning rifles. This has significantly reduced the effort and time required. I find that 1 wet pass followed by 2 dry passes and repeat once will typically yield a shiny bore

To be honest they work but they are a pain! The patch is to long it’s hard to control the tails. I was sold on the idea but I have realized they are trying to fix something that’s not broken and it’s actually harder now. Trying to cover the patch with solvent or oil has never been harder!!!

Tried both 22 and 30 cal, cleans the top of the rifling and patches come out "clean" after several passes. But if you bore-scope the barrel and there is plenty of both carbon and copper left in the rifling, if you do not be-leave me run a patch with a standard or Parker Hale Style style of jag and see how much the Real Avid jag left. Real Avid might say you need to also use the brush, but using a nylon brush, Wipe Out, Thorroclean, or Bore Tech solvent and the barrel will clean faster with less work.
