Birds Love It—and No Mess for Me!
The birds go absolutely crazy for this stuff! The Kaytee No Mess Blend is a total win. It comes in a generous 10-pound bag and is a fantastic value for the quality and quantity you get.Every ingredient is shelled and ready to eat—there are no husks or shells left behind, which means no cleanup and no wasted food. Everything in the blend is edible, and our feeders are now busier than ever. We’ve seen not only more birds, but a greater variety of species too!If you’re tired of the mess under your feeders and want to attract more feathered friends, this is the bird food to get. Highly recommend!

No weeds - Thank goodness!
Not the cheapest bird food, but it doesn’t include any seeds that generate weeds, so that makes it worth the price. The birds absolutely love it, I have to keep decreasing the time between deliveries because the birds will empty my feeders so quickly.

Truly a great No Mess bird food!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is our favorite bird seed. It is truly low to No Mess! The birds love it. We are happy that it does not result in a lot of waste on the ground as we do not want to attract rodents.

Nothing eats the corn?
The birds seem to like this seed. That is to say, they eat it, with an exception. As far as I can tell, NOTHING eats the corn. Unless the birds are extremely particular about which corn kernels they eat and eating just the tastiest ones, none of it gets eaten. That's all that's left when the feeder is empty. If I leave the feeder empty long enough some of the corn eventually goes, but it might just be getting kicked on the ground and the squirrels eat it. I have a majority of the supposed birds that eat corn listed on the bag too. (I also mix in some suet nuggets and the bluebirds, tufted titmouses, and, surprisingly, the red belly woodpeckers really go nuts for them.)None of these no mess seeds are really "no mess" just a lot less. You still end of needing to clean the remains from the feeder regularly, but it's nowhere near as bad as sunflower seeds, etc. It's not a "5" but good enough for me to keep buying it, for now anyway. If they had the same thing with no corn I'd buy that instead.

No mess - no shell cleanup
The birds love this brand. It's a very nice quality. I like the no mess part so there are not sunflower seed shells everywhere.

Everything in the bag is edible, so no hulls are discarded on your deck
This bird food is nice because it is no mess, meaning that all the seeds have had the hull removed and everything in the bag is edible, so your deck or patio doesn't get covered in inedible hulls. It is mostly millet, cracked corn and broken bits of sunflower seeds with a few peanuts scattered about. We have a long trough type feeder on the side of a deck rail and I dump a large amount of food out every day. We have had over 50 different species of birds on our deck, so I like to keep feeding year round. We also get squirrels and chipmunks at the feeder, which doesn't bother me. Everybody has to eat, and I enjoy their antics. We can clearly see the feeder from the house and all the wildlife provides a lot of entertainment. I switch up the food depending on what is the best deal at the time, but I always get the no mess type because... wait for it... it doesn't make a mess!

Mostly very good but too many corn kernels.
There is much about this product that I like. That it is shelless and invites birds that don’t navigate sunflower shells. My chief reason for not giving it 100% review is that there are corn kernels, and the only birds that seem to be interested in that are Blue Jays and I don’t get very many Blue Jays. They mostly go for the suet. And although technically corn kernels do not have shells. They are unattractive to the small song birds that come to my bird feeders. They do attract squirrels.
