Good office tool (don’t know about for the OR)
Have never used them in an OR setting, but in an office, great for grabbing on to a large splinter to pull it out. Insane that a medical catalogue wanted over $50 for this. Easy to use, just like the ones you’d use in the hospital. Standard design, teeth mesh well, good adjustable tension on grip. Good thing to have in a primary care office wound care kit.

Exactly as describe..A little heavier than I thought they'd be, but otherwise fine

adequate but cheap
They're ok, definitely not surgical grade though. The jaws don't quite line up and the locking mechanism on the straight pair is also out of alignment, so they don't unlock smoothly. I work in vet neuro and they're adequate for checking reflexes and pinching toes, which is really all I need them for. If you just need a set of cheap clamps, they'll do.

Works great for sewing and quilting. Why did you pick this product vs others?:They lock and do spring open when gripping the thread out needle.
