We love it. It really helps keep cats from using our mulch as a bathroom. It keeps my small front garden neat and clean.I even bought some of this for one of my neighbors. Excellent invention..

This is the only thing that has finally kept my cat from peeing on the couch. And I’ve tried everything! We just move it when we want to sit and put it back when we get up. Looks crazy on the couch but it’s better than cat urine on it!

This works to keep my dog out of my chair and off my table with all the irresistible chewy items, like my TV remote, reading glasses, phone stylus, pencils and pens, prescription meds just to name a few victims. It has side hooks to attach adjacent runs of another strip. It is stiff plastic. It remembers it is rolled for storage. Plan on weigting down the ends with a heavy book or something equivalent. Small cats could feasibly step between the tunes, but they will have to approach it from a level plain. They won't jump from below onto it more than once, I wager.

I got this mat to keep our dog off the new couch and certain garden spots, and it has worked well so far. The plastic spikes are firm enough to discourage jumping or sitting but not sharp enough to hurt. It is a gentle way to redirect behavior without yelling or using sprays. The mat is flexible and easy to trim or shape around furniture and yard edges. I like that it comes with ground stakes and zip ties for different surfaces. Indoors, it lays flat and blends in more than I expected. Outdoors, the stakes hold it in place even in wind. I did take off one star because the edges can curl slightly if not secured, but overall it does what it promises. A good option for anyone trying to protect furniture or garden spaces from pets.

Works like a charm. My forever shedding jack Russell gets the drift. Just gotta figure out how to keep the ends down. Excuse the ugly green floor. It’s my parents old house and that will be changed.

Will NOT lay flat on a couch! It comes rolled up and basically remains that way because that’s how it was packed after manufacturing. Permanently molded and rolls back up. It may work outside in a flower bed where you can secure it to the ground. Don’t buy for inside if you need it to lay flat by itself. That pic of the cat on a couch with this product is inaccurate and is not a true representation of the ability of this product. I am very disappointed. I don’t return things so I’ll give it to someone who may be able to use it somewhere. Not good quality or functionality. The design is flawed.

My dogs lounge on the back of the chairs in front of my windows to watch (and bark at) people on the street. As a result, the back cushions develop a permanent "V" in the cushions. I purchased this item and cut it to the right size and so far it has kept them off the back of the chairs. The product is a little hard to work with as it comes in a roll and does not straighten out well and the spikes make it difficult to work with, but with a little patience I was able to combine 2 strips to cover the back of the chair.

I have a German Shepard that is making holes in my back yard. I wanted to find a way to deter him from making the holes bigger. I covered the holes with this product. This made my dog curious. When he realized that he couldn’t get to his hole he found a way to pull it out of the ground. I believe if this came with a longer metal pin my dog would not be able to remove it from the ground. I guess this is better for cats.

This is definitely a danger to cats…the spikes are long and narrow and pointy at the ends…the underneath is not smooth and would cause much damage to your furniture …I would report this product as “Pet Abusive””
