This wallet exceeded my expectations! It is amazing and worth every penny. Every bit of it inside and out is definately leather. There is not a flaw on it, it feels like silk in your hand. The stitching is perfect. The zipper section opens when the wallet is closed and my iPhone (5s) fits in there perfectly, and it is so accessible from there. The zipper is heavy duty, it has a beautiful and heavy duty pull on it, both appear to be gleeming brass. The picture ID does not have a plastic cover, (which usually sticks to the ID inside) instead, it is a netted material that's a little darker than the typical clear plastic, and I think it would make it more difficult for someone who happens to be around you to see your personal information. I can put 21 credit cards in the slots provided. I can put a check book in the wallet and it still closes easily. It does have a slight odor which I think will go away in time, it is not in any way anoying. I may order a second one to have when this one wears out many, many years from now. There is no wallet in the nicest stores in the USA to compaire with this wallet. It is made in China.I ordered the RFID blocking wallet (it comes with or without RFID) but no information in the wallet actually said it had RFID blocking made into it. This is my only concern. I emailed the seller to make sure it is RFID. I cannot express how completely impressed I am with the quality of this wallet. I have nearly given up carrying handbags after 2 episodes of frozen shoulder so I like a wallet that will also hold my cell phone. I can say that this does, indeed, hold my iPhone 6 plus which also has an Otterbox case. Granted, it would fit better without the case, perfectly in fact, but it DOES fit into the space although I am not able to snap that spot closed when the phone is wearing the Otterbox case. If I had a smaller case, it would be perfect. I will probably search for a safe case that is smaller. So, back to the quality of this wallet. It arrived beautifully packaged in a lovely inner box with the wallet in a dust cover. Some have written of the leather being "shiny" but I feel that it has just a nice "luster" to it. It IS quality leather, soft, supple, and with the lovely smell of real leather. The wallet has a double snap closure so you may make adjustments if it's fully loaded with cards. The zipper operates smoothly on the flip side of the wallet. It will hold bills and small amounts of change. I don't care to have much real change as the coins add weight. The interior of the wallet is well stitched and has 3 separate pockets underneath the spaces for cards. I'm sure you could utilize these spaces for paper currency, receipts or to even tuck a checkbook in. All in all, this is a beautiful quality wallet and the price makes it even better. I have paid twice the price for much less. The only thing that could make this wallet better for me is if it came with a matching detachable wrist strap.
