Very good to relieve from Throat pain

Best cough drops in the world! If you've ever had a mint Altoid, the Fisherman's Friend has the same texture and consistency. And like an Altoid, they are very potent and powerful when you first put them in your mouth. Chewing them should be done at your own risk, lol. Fisherman's Friends are great because they have a very low sugar content. So unlike many cough drops which are essentially more of a candy, these will not irritate your throat if you consume a bunch. Stick with the original flavor btw, the others have sucralose. The fact that they come in multiple small packets is awesome. This allows you to put one in the car, in the pocket of your favorite coats, and so on. If you've never tried Fisherman's Friends, you're truly missing out on THE most effective and easy on your throat cough drop. Once you try them, every other brand will fall short.

I purchased Fisherman’s Friend Original Extra Strong lozenges from Amazon while dealing with a persistent, barking dry cough and sore throat. I’m all for checking medications and products carefully before taking them, and I always recommend asking a pharmacist or healthcare provider if you have questions. These lozenges are strong—there’s no exaggeration there. The menthol is intense, but that’s also what makes them effective. Used as directed (about one lozenge every two hours), they don’t cure the cough, but they do temporarily calm it down, which can be a huge relief when the coughing is constant and exhausting. I’ve been using them alongside hot tea with honey, prescribed antibiotics, and an inhaler as needed, and the combination has helped take the edge off enough to rest and function. They soothe and lightly numb the throat, helping calm that raw, irritated feeling that triggers nonstop coughing. They may be too strong for those sensitive to menthol, but if you need something powerful for short-term relief, Fisherman’s Friend lives up to its reputation. This pack lasts me for a year. When I have a cough, sore, throat, or stuffy nose, I don't want to run out of these. Nor do I want to run from store to store looking for them. This was the largest economical pack I could find. I used to be able to find these in drugstores or supermarket checkouts. However, more recently, I've only been finding the more gentle cherry edition. In case you didn't know, those are half as strong as Original. Do these taste good? No. Do they taste horrible? Also no. They taste strong! I first heard of these in high school when a person sitting two rows over took one. It was so strong, it cleared my sinuses from afar. True story.

The best throat lounge I've tried. I sing in choir and it quites a cough and dry throat. I recommend them.
