Great Welder
I needed to do some welding but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I am a novice welder at best. I bought this hoping it would do what I needed it to do and it has. It definitely works better on 220 volts but does weld on 110 volts. The problems I had on 110 volts were due to my lack of experience. It fell off my trailer into the dirt once while I was welding and didn't stop running or welding (about 3 feet). The drop was not intentional. This welder is light so make sure it is secure where you place it.I have welded everything from 1/8" steel to 2-3/8" oil field pipe. It welds everything I need it to.The only thing I replaced was the ground clamp. I love this welder and would buy it again if it quit working.Mike

Great little welder
Have been looking for a welder to put in the back of a truck to go around making repairs on equipment and fence. Mig welders can be heavy and expensive and didn’t want a $1000 welder bouncing around in the back of a truck all the time. Was looking at the HF inverter welder and was looking up reviews when this thing popped up on the best compact welders. Figured for $140 I would give it a shot. Glad I did! This thing is about the size of my boot but it packs a good punch. Welds great easy to use. Haven’t figured out what all the buttons do but feels very well built. Only problem I have is that the leads are a little cheap, especially the ground clamp but those can be switched out easy enough

Decent lift tig function but only puts out 140a max.
The media could not be loaded. In lift tig mode output is only 140 amps with machine set to max 160 as video shows. When I set it to 125 amps, it put out 107.That being said, it lift arcs pretty good given the cost. A 2 line air cooled torch setup keeps the torch cool too.The ground and stinger lead cables are copper too.

Great value
I'm a complete novice welder, so I haven't tried many others for comparison, but this is the first one I've tried that I was successful with. It's easy to set up and use. Very lightweight and portable, but still feels like good-quality parts.

Pretty nice little machine. Don't think it actually has hot start though....
Nice little machine. It won't run a 6010 like most cheap inverters wont but, it runs nice for all other rods. 110 hook up works in a pinch or for smaller rods. It probably won't burn a 1/8 inch 7018 but, will probably burn a 1/8 inch 6011. Definitely for all of the 3/32, and 1/16 rods it's fantastic for hooking into a wall outlet. I prefer running on 220 though. I'm almost positive this machine doesn't have hot start. If it does, it's not in the am y'all and there is no setting for it on the machince. All in all, nice little machine to keep around.

Getting what you paid for.
Beware. I got sent a used striker clamp. The welder looks capable and sturdy. Just really disappointed that the item was listed and I got a used striker clamp with scratches. It’s a very compact machine and very light . Got it because of project farm and a coworker from work recommended it. I’m excited to start my welding journey.

Easy to use and affordable
I needed an affordable welder to repair an appliance I had. This setup with hood and tools was less expensive than trying to get a new part shipped to me by at least $100. I recall using a stick welder about 30 years ago and thought this would be worth a try. Glad I did, it came packaged well and I could use eihtr 120V or 220V. I went the easy way and did 120V and it worked great. Good product, affordable, and really easy to use. I got the one with the more advanced digital display and found that easy to adjust to try to get the welding stick to melt just right on my repair - it did the job and we are all happy.
