I used this product to stop sweating on the discharge plenum of my central air conditioning unit.I don't know if this stuff is supposed to puff up or not, but it didn't.After it dried, water condensed on it as if it was not even there.

You do get what you pay for in the pipe wrap area.I’m putting this aside for a spring or summertime project as it’s highly flammable (check the ingredients below). Have this water heater on top of a ceiling and was always dripping. This stuff worked great! No more dripping. It puffs up a bit like stucco and provide good insulation. I highly recommend this product.
