Columbia Men's Steens Mountain Vest

I have five colors of this vest. It is perfect for adding a little warmth over a polo or lighter weight base shirt. Even looks a little dressy with khaki pants. The collar still looks nice when folded over like a dress shirt collar. I am 6'1" 150lb and the small fits well without looking baggy like so many things do on tall slim men.

i love this vest! exactly what i was looking for, light weight, good looking, decent color choices...couldn't ask for more, and a trusted brand as well. i got it cause i don't usually wear a coat in the new england winters but considering my age now, and the super cold temps we've been having, i wanted a vest to just retain some warmth on my body. this is not an arctic rated product by any stretch and i wasn't looking for one. it serves the intended purpose i wanted. it does the job, keeps my upper torso plenty warm and out of the wind while keeping my arms free. paired with a long sleeved tee and flannel shirt, i'm good to go. i wouldn't spend hours outside on single digit temp days with just this vest, but i'm good to go from house to warm truck and back again. short forays on those freezing days. the collar stands tall also to protect the neck. i can use this right through to spring, and maybe on those chilly summer evenings. fits my needs. i found sizing ran true. i got my normal size, 3x. i'm a big guy and hard to fit. i'm glad i didn't get the recommended 2x size, the 3 is great. not snug either, with some room for layers. i'm very happy with this product.

This is my third Columbia vest, in various sizes. The first lasted ten years until the zipper gave out. The second recent purchase (women's L) is too tight around the armpits in winter. I am 5'3", 150 lbs., with zero chest after surgery. The final and MOST recent purchase is a men's size, which is warm and extremely comfortable, with room to spare everywhere, but easily accommodates a winter turtleneck underneath without being huge. The longer LENGTH is so much better for winter.

Good quality. It keeps you warm during cool weather and doesn't burn you up when the day gets warmer. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in the color that I wanted. I ordered black but it looks more like dark gray. I'll keep it because it's hard to find these for tall people.

This is the ultimate in finance bro wear. Pair with a button up shirt and chinos to complete the look. These are comfortable, have awesome pockets, the zipper is great and the color definitely stays.

Fit is good. It doesn’t shift out of place as I move around. Pocket depth is good. My phone is safe in a pocket. Zipper is easy to start and works smoothly. Shoulder coverage and arm hole size are good.
