Great for a beginner
Great welding glasses! The auto-darkening feature kicks in instantly, giving me clear vision while still protecting my eyes. Lightweight and comfortable to wear for long sessions, and the adjustable shade works perfectly for TIG, MIG, and plasma cutting. The solar power means no battery hassle, and the dual sensors respond quickly. Excellent value for reliable eye protection—highly recommend!

Useless garbage
These are useless garbage I guess I should have expected that cuz they were the cheapest thing I could find but not only are they not remotely comfortable like it says actually they were painful to put on until I glued some foam to the nose piece in the forehead piece and they don't sit straight on your face so I had to put foam across the forehead in order to get them to sit right and on top of that they don't get dark there's no way to charge them or have a backup battery except the solar panels on them which as far as I can tell don't do anything there's no battery indicator of any sort and no matter what I do they won't get dark so I'll be a monkey's uncle if I'm going to even try welding with them because the flashlight on my phone is nearly blinding looking through them I might as well look at it with my bare eyes and a welding Ark is really freaking bright and can burn your retinas out so hell no I'm not going to even try welding with these things I'm going to throw them in the garbage because that's what they are don't buy them in fact don't even accept them if they offer to pay you to take them just punch the guy who tries to give them to you

I like them but you going to get your face burnt!
There actually pretty darn good! I like using the strap I can just move it up then back down when I'm doing something else don't have to worry about slipping off I don't think they'd break anyways if should they would fall on concrete.

They only darken with infrared light, not when you look at the sun, so don't use for an eclipse!
They only darken with infrared light, not when you look at the sun, so don't use them to view a solar eclipse!I had several ideas for using these glasses, so I tested these glasses a few different ways:1) December 8th is "National Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day." Do these glasses look futuristic enough to use as a costume accessory for a time traveler from the future? Yes! And although they're not the most comfortable "sunglasses" to wear all day, they're comfortable enough for a couple hours, and definitely far more comfortable than any Star Wars costume that requires a helmet.2) Will they work for viewing a solar eclipse? No. I tried looking directly at the sun several times (briefly enough not to damage my eyes), and they would not darken. Again, they will not auto-darken if you look at the sun. I'm not sure if they're supposed to auto-darken if you look at the sun, but if they're supposed to, then mine don't work correctly.3) Will they block facial recognition cameras for privacy reasons?Well, sort of, but only like a blindfold, because they turn completely dark in the presence of an infrared camera!I'm not a welder, but I was able to try one source of infrared light, as I had recently read that the Apple iPhone front-facing camera uses infrared light for facial recognition. Sure enough, when my iPhone was locked and the iPhone tried to scan my face for facial recognition, the glasses went completely dark! But something else odd happened: when my iPhone was unlocked, and I tried to look at my iPhone with the glasses on, the glasses would flicker constantly from black to clear about three or four times per second, from black to clear, black to clear, black to clear, over and over again continuously, very annoying, making it impossible to use your iPhone. I'm guessing that the iPhone constantly emits infrared flashes from its front-facing camera even when the iPhone is unlocked.4) Will these work for welding? I'm not sure as I'm not a welder, but as others have pointed out, there are gaps where the light can come through on the top, bottom, or sides, as these glasses don't form a seal on your face, so I probably wouldn't recommend them for welding. Better than nothing, and they're cheap, but I'd recommend you get a full face mask or hood instead, or at least some welding goggles that form a tighter seal around your eyes.
