I’ve purchased the same sketchbook multiple times. I really like the 9 x 12 size and the tooth of the paper. It works well with pencils and ink. The paper is thick and well suited to a variety of mediums.I love the top spiral because it is very easy for lefties to use. There is also a perforated page so that you can remove your works of art with ease. This makes it really good sketchbook for students because of the decent price and the book fits well in a full-size backpack.

I was looking for a new sketchbook to fill up over the summer with pencil artwork. I always try to go for a top spiral so I can draw landscape orientation and thumb through the pages left-right as any book in the West. The paper takes graphite well, has plenty of pages. The spiral is big and stiff when laid flat. Pages don't get caught on the rings. Covers are a heavy cardboard, which keeps the pages flat in a backpack or on the go.Perforation is subtle. Fair warning - it is not deep enough to remove straight out of the sketchbook with a flat edge. When removing pages, make sure to tear out of the rings first, then fold across the perforation front/back both ways before removing the edge waste. I had no issues with tears or rips when using this technique.Would recommend!

Great sketch pads. The paper quality is very good and the size of the pad is great.

It is just as described. My son loves it for his art class!
