Way stronger then you think. The arrows are sad. I would have given 5 stars but they should have made it so it can take multiple kinds of arrows. Other than that, it's no freak'n joke.

Very impressed with quality of crossbow, ease of assembly/disassembly and its power. Will be using as alternative to gun on muskrats (wife prefers a quieter solution). I am on second main string (3 string unit) already, William Tell support helped me find a rough spot on string clamp claw that was impacting string, and some careful filing with fine sandpaper seems to have solved this. Using it with their steel bolts and fishing line setup (I also slightly filed down nocks on the steel bolts as these also seemed a bit sharp for string). Under 50 ft very tight 1” group when sighting in with target arrows, but looser 3” group with steel bolts and fishing line at same distance. Should do the job, but wish steel bolt pattern tighter. Would have been 5 star if not for the string clamp claw issue.

So I own a few different recurve crossbows that have been a lot of fun (I have a target set up that I can shoot from my desk in home office) but for me it has always seemed a little overkill for target practice and the occasional garden raiders till I saw the Mini Stryker. This compound mini crossbow is pretty solid. First thing is a the build quality, my only experience with mini crossbows has been with those lower end variety, so I was pleasantly surprised when I unboxed it. Next was the over all weight and feel, it's not super heavy but it's enough that it keeps you steady. Now for the draw, it's just easy. You won't be doing any sustained rapid fire but for the power you get it's pretty incredible. Note the draw string does seem like it would definitely need replacing soon specially if you were using this in extreme weather just because is so thin and small. Moving on to shooting and power, so I knew it was going have some power behind it but I lost my first bolt because it went through my target, and two 1x2's in my backstop. This is a pleasure to shoot and it's quiet as mouse. My only knock on this crossbow is the bolts, if you try to use a beefier bolt you can't slide it all the way back and it's not something I am comfortable with. So you either have to use those 6 inch cheap bolts from Amazon or order their bolts which don't give you the option of changing tips should occasion arise and if I am paying 35 and change for bolts I want to be able to switch tips. Over all though this is a very impressive set up and I am super happy I ordered it.

I really like the crossbow. It is very accurate and powerful. I really did not expect it to be that strong. WT archery answered all of my questions before I placed my order. So far good customer services and good product.
