This drum is great, it sounds good and feels good to play. I have both the small version and the big version. The only problem is you can not play with two hands like you might see people do on youtube, unless you are a really small person or a child. Playing with two hands/4 fingers is important for doing very fast advanced rhythms like hertas, or rolls. If you do not have advanced drumming knowledge, this is not really an issue.

I am highly impressed with this talking drum. I have never owned one before and needed to make sure I spent the money I had well and with smart decision making. The reviews helped me to do so and I am not disappointed. I first received one that had something loose inside, and they are handmade I see, so that is expected to have some defect. But, since it was new and fixable, I exchanged and now have a great one. Even the old one sounded great though. It sounds NICE, looks beautiful, and feels great. I like the heavy duty strap. For the money, this size is perfect and it is a quality drum.

This product is beyond my expectation in quality.I love it! I love talking drums, not just for its decorative use, but the sounds it produces fascinates me a lot. As a yoruba man from Nigeria, I had imagined that such product cannot be manufactured by people other than Nigerians, but this product proved me wrong and blew me away! I just love my talking drum and hope to purchase a bigger one very soon from this same makers. The cost and delivery was awesome and precise too, especially when compared with people that makes the same product to sell at so high a price and yet the quality of their product cannot march this one.

I legit love this drum. I’m as novice as it gets, with a large group of friends that vary from solid amateur to professional musicians. Playing with them is one of my favorite things to do, all time compared to anything. I have a djembe and a cajon I normally play. I’ve always enjoyed both. This talking drum is the first piece I’ve gotten that I actually love so much that I feel compelled to play it, on my own. Just infinitely unique.

The drum arrived today ( a Sunday no less) After unpacking it, I had a chance to play it. I am not really a drummer but I had a blast. It is well-made, comes with stick, sounds great and is fun and easy to play.

Hasn't been used yet but delivery was sharp, product is exactly as seen in the picture, packaging impeccable. Very well made drum too... Cannot compare with the locally made Nigerian dundun which smells so strongly of animal hide when new... It appears sturdy and seems to make all the right sounds. But like previous comment,I am no expert in drums but it looks great and I hope it lasts and serves its purpose well.

Great value for money. I'm using it as part of my instrument for making tracks especially afrobeats and the sound is amazing.
