AMAZING! They work great!
These are amazing! I am no girl scout and making a fire has never been a strong suit of mine but these have made camping so much more simple. Lots of times I will try to get a head start on my husband up to our property and these have enabled me to have the fire going by the time he arrives. I would highly recommend these!

May be better than I think
After reading a few reviews and watching a video, I wonder if this product is any better than using cotton balls and Vaseline mixed together in a plastic bag, I go one step further and dip each one in melted wax, sealing them, then just give a lite pull to expose the fibers of the cotton to use. They burn around 6 minutes each, I also use a spark striker to light them. They light easily. I have tried other fire and charcoal starter cubes. Some pressed wood and wax, some white chemical cubes. Not sure this starts very well, it seems kinda slow in initial burn. I might give it a try...seems like a good idea for allowing the fire to have more area to ignite more kindling quicker..hmmmm

Really happy with these
Worked amazingly well for a bonfire! We roasted marshmallows over this and some wood and it lasted quite a while! Really happy with these! I will say that the two staples on them are little worrisome- not sure if that is safe to roast food over?- but we went with it anyways! Everyone is still alive and healthy ;)

It works, overpriced? You decide
The media could not be loaded. It's cool for what it is but lets be honest, are you going to throw one of these in your backpack? No. Not when you can carry a bag full of cotton balls with vasoline on them. Less bulk, cheaper, burns just about as long, etc. These are great for getting a fire started, I used one to help burn a big pile of sticks, limbs, and branches. Is it worth 12 bucks for 10? That's up to you to decide. It does work. They do have a couple staples in them you'll need to find if you don't want to leave them where you burn this at. I've attached a video to show it working. We went camping a couple weeks ago, a friend had these and they were amazing. The best fire starter I've seen. So I had to have them. I haven't used mine yet but I gave one to a friend to try.
