So excited to discover WikkiStix make holiday themed handouts for Halloween! I’m not a fan of handing out candy—from my personal experience of what my kids bring home, the majority of the candy goes in the garbage. However, I’ve struggled to find a good alternative. Most non-food trinkets that are available are, likewise, garbage, and just contribute to plastic waste. WikkiStix are actually engaging for kids. My kids are 10 and 4 and I always have a ziploc bag of WikkiStix in my purse for them. They are perfect for road-trips, restaurants, having to sit through big sis’s concert, etc. etc. They are like having the lasting entertainment value and creativity of play-dough, but way more portable and without any of the mess. My kids have played with WikkiStix for literal hours in the car on road-trips. With the only “mess” being when my 4 year old used them to mold a picture onto the car window. The wax stuck to the window, but wiped cleanly off with a paper towel. Easy Peasy. I like that these small packs of WikkiStix even come with a little Halloween themed activity page. I’m really excited to hand them out this holiday and introduce more parents to how wonderful WikkiStix are! When the package arrived, my kids said they were jealous of the trick-or-treaters and wanted to keep the treats for themselves.

I plan on giving these out on Halloween. Our kids can’t have most candy so I try to give out something they can actually enjoy. Surprisingly most kids get excited to see something other than candy so I know these will be a hit.
