Great book! It is very informative with pictures and explanations that are easy to understand, which is perfect for children and/or beginners like myself, a very interesting read and now able to give a name to the random fossils I've found over the past year

After he had collected some fossils on his holidays I got my grandson this book, it helped him to identify them, the fossil names are broken into syllables making them easier for him to accurately pronounce, the individual information is just long enough to keep his attention, he has thoroughly enjoyed it, and will continue to search out more of the identified fossils I have no doubt.

Bought the grandchildren a fossil hammer each and this book so they can identify the fossils they find.

EXCELLENT Product

This book is really good for children around the age of 8-12. The text is good and the illustrations are excellent. It is relatively up to date and very readable. As a professional palaeontologist, I would recommend this book.
