Pretty handy little set.
I was looking for a way to make a quik connect for wire harness that controls a few servos and actuators on an animitronic project, simple crimp blade connectors sometimes come apart, and bus bars don't have the look of professionalism. Connecting and disconnecting a billion wires over and over can also mean misidentified wires, which can result in lost time replacing burnt fuses or even melting components.. or the whole board. I like the idea of fewer cables and connectors. Once the system is wired correctly and tested successfully, there's no worries when it's being setup by anyone other than myself. These little connectors are rigid and don't come loose like other plastic clip style connectors. They're awesome

Item works just as it should. Took care of my problem, which was a broken cheap plastic connector. This one seems much more sturdy and will hold up better.

They are great for secure connections
Just what I needed for my DC connection for my battery to charger connection.

Not so good connectors
I attached a 4 wire cable to the female portion with no problems as the pins were silver plated. After that was complete, I started on the male portion. The pins will not take solder. Seems they are nickle plated and not silver plated as the other half are. I have perhaps 60 years of soldering electronic components and have seen this on occasion. I ordered these parts because they were supplied by a USA source. They came fast enough.
