This UV marker is great. I use it to mark certain items to help ID them in the event they were stolen. This could be used to secretly mark expensive items or simple things like office items that are prone to appear on someone else’s desk. Shine a black light on them and your mark will shine brightly! It sounds like I’m paranoid but it does work.

I recently purchased the Edding 8280 Securitas UV Marker, and it's proven to be a surprisingly useful tool. The invisible ink is truly undetectable under normal light, but reveals a bright blue glow under a UV light, exactly as advertised. I've been using it to discreetly mark valuable items and documents, giving me an added layer of security. The fine tip allows for precise marking, and the ink dries quickly. It's a simple, yet effective way to add an extra layer of protection. I appreciate the peace of mind this little marker provides.

Works as expected, which was a relief after seeing comments about dried out pens. While it leaves a mark, it's really only visible if you know to look for it which is basically the case for anything marker like this. Only negative ding (may be a seller or shipper issue?) was because it took way too long to arrive, seemed to take 4-5 weeks after ordering and that's with Prime!

Seems to be working! I used it on the inside of my atrium home to keep birds from crashing into the big windows

I ordered five different UV Pens so that I could compare them. This one stands out above all the others as producing the brightest UV markings. As a result, I have purchased as second one. BTW - The company that shipped me this pen sent it quickly and without any problems.

I tested this pen and while the ink is invisible to the naked eye, it does flueresce as expected when exposed to UV light. So that part is good. However after writing my name on back of my iPhone (on the aluminium case of the iPhone itself) and letting it dry for couple of days, I was able to remove the writing just by wiping it with a paper towel. So the ink is not of a "permanent marker" type. Another issue people should know about (not stated on the description page for this item currently) is that even if you order this using Amazon Prime, it is not eligible for return. Amazon says that "For safety reasons, items containing flammable liquids or gases can’t be returned to Amazon. For more information or help, please contact us."

Lot de 10 acheté plutôt qu'un seul marqueur, car le prix à l'unité proposé par d'autres marchands était tout simplement prohibitif. Le côté amusant de l'encre UV, véritablement invisible à l'oeil nu. Les seules façons de déceler une écriture avec ce marqueur sont : la pointe du marqueur qui va appuyer sur le papier (traces disparues en quelques jours), l'encre humide juste après avoir écrit (qui va sécher en quelques heures) et une modification du brillant de la surface sur laquelle on a écrit => mais il faut vraiment tomber dessus avec un angle et une lumière favorables, ce qui est peu probable si on ne sait pas quoi chercher. C'est donc une encre quasi invisible pour de vrai, et qui se révèle avec une lampe UV (maintenant on trouve des lampes torches à led). Vive la déco psychédélique visible pour les seuls initiés !

Exactamente lo que se espera de él. A simple vista no se ve nada y con luz uv aparece todo. Recomiendo escribir con la luz UV encendida.

I buy these pens every year and they're great for purpose. You can draw anything on a white wall and you only see it when uvlights are on. GREAT for Halloween house parties. Bought box of 10 and drew scenes on every wall in 20 x 12' living room. Oh.. and u can smudge them a bit too! Great fun
