Great product at a great price. I took this product for a few months when i was diagnosed with early onset arthritis in my hips. I then changed to another one with a lower dosage for a month and i really noticed the difference, the pain in my hips returned. So once i speedily got through the months supply of the other type i went straight back to this product. No more hip pain, yay! Love that it's derived from mushrooms too and has no added nasties. Will be ordering again.

I ordered two pots of the Wellgard vegan vitamin D3 as it is free from the usual nasty additives and one of the very few D3 supplements derived from mushrooms. Unfortunately, I returned my order to Amazon as the supplements I received were very close to the expiry date, so would have been out of date long before they were used. Very disappointing that no checks are made on expiry dates before despatch.

Will buy again, go down easy. This purchase was my second so far, and I intend to keep buying after these run out.

We all need extra help to maintain our bodies in the winter months, and vitamin D is a key immune support requirement as well as helping to maintain healthy bones, teeth and muscles. This vegan supplement is an excellent way to obtain the vitamin D we would normally expect to absorb from the sun, but obviously that does not occur when sunlight is not present for much of the time as the longer nights and lower sun hours set in.The supplement is provided in capsule form in a bigger bottle than is really necessary for a 3-month supply; the 90 capsules therein are 18mm long and 6mm in diameter so a pretty standard size and easily swallowed. The date of expiry on this bottle shows 08/2023 so plenty of wiggle room before they’d be off, and since I am taking them daily, they will last the 90 days. Having now taken them with food for over a 10 days, I’m happy to report no issues or side-effects in doing so, they are tasteless and easy to digest.As I’ve stated in the past, it is difficult to gauge the effectiveness of vitamins and other supplements, but I do feel better about adding an additional external boost to my immune system, especially given the Covid situation and the upcoming flu season, despite having all the jabs for both. Should you wish to purchase a vitamin D booster for your immune system – especially if a vegan – these UK based - Wellgard manufactured supplements are well worth considering.
