Great for gauging the muzzle on .22 rimfires. Definitely something to have if buying a used firearm.
Giving it 5 Stars simply because it is what it says and is supposed to be. It's simple and straightforward, simply a milled peice of steel will etchings. However it's a very handy tool to gauge. 22 rimfire muzzles which get blown out pretty easy after be cleaned for years with steel rods. It will let you know when it's time for a recrowning or new barrel to keep your accuracy. I found 2 rugers that needed a simple recrowning.... which did in fact tighten my groups. I would definitely want this if buying a used .22 & way better than makeshift gauges. Only con is it is expensive for what you get. While gauging, fixing my .22s is great this tiny bit of steel wasn't cheap and it's not like I'm going to use it daily. But on the plus side it has saved me from possibly buying 2 new ruger barrels and possible bad purchases in the future.

Great Tool
Great tool to determine whether that .22 someone is selling has a shot out barrel or is in pristine condition. Keeps the mistakes to a minimum!

Well worth it
This little gem... will tell you if a 22 is shot out or suffering from a bad muzzle due to poor cleaning practices. Well worth it. The only downside is I now know that my rifles are in spec so missing is entirely my fault...
