The Berenstain Bears' Big Book of Science and Nature (Dover Science For Kids)

This is a really nice fun book. Way more in it than Expected. My kids love reading and like how there's small science projects through out.

Exceeds my expectations. My kids love this book & it really has so much information in it.

Three year old loves it. It is a good jumping off point for explaining how the world works. Cute illustrations and rhyming language. There are sometimes outdated terms and objects, which I don’t mind as they can be good “history” exposure, and some things that might not apply as well depending on where you live. What bothers me is that they classify mold as a plant instead of fungi, and algae as plants even though most are not. Additionally, if you are a Christian, you will have to edit some old earth language as you read, which is not unusual for science content. These are simple enough edits to make as you read, and so I still love this book.

Love this book! One of the best educational books for kids. Each story is so interesting with all the little details. Definitely recommend for kids.

I read this with my kids when they were little. It’s a great first science book and fun to read. And of course, Berenstain Bears books are favorites. So I purchased it for my nieces who are 5 years old hoping they didn’t already have it…and they really like it.

To get this much of Berenstein bear goodies in one book at less than a tenner is great, especially when your grandkids are big fans of the BB family.

I bought this book thinking it could be something to read together, but I think it's better suited for early readers instead. Also, the content is geared heavily towards US. There are a lot of bits about weather and holidays that people who live in Singapore like us would not be able to relate to. Overall, still an okay book.

My daughter brings this onto the potty with her, and we often have to peel it away from her to get her off of the potty after a long sit. There's so many pages with very fine illustrations that it is very engaging time and time again. The mini-stories cover a range of topics, and *spoiler alert* they all culminate with a big science fair. A+ book, and a great throwback to my own childhood.
