HR 10410601 Blind Spot Mirror - Made in Germany 3.4 x 4.2 x 4.5 inches

I purchased an older version of this mirror in 2000 from Brookstone. It has been used on seven of my vehicles since and still works very well. I had always wanted to find another with no luck for other vehicles over the years. It did say "Made in Germany" on the housing. I recently did a search locating two newer Herbert Richter (HR) versions of the same mirror on Amazon. The differences are in the length of the flexible necks. I ordered this short version. It is much better than the old with a very secure suction mount and strong, flexible neck. There is also a dash mount option. It is the same excellent quality and does not move or vibrate. Once you get used to scanning it with your driver's side exterior mirror, you will really appreciate not having to look over your shoulder or move forward in your seat to check your blind spot. It is a very good safety addition. I highly recommend it!

I was very pleased with the thoughtful design and very high quality. I installed it on a small fixed piece of glass just forward of the driver's side door window and it gives me a great view of what used to be the "blind spot" compensating for the lack of "blind spot" detection on my car.The suction cup attachment works extremely well. It has not been attached for well over a month and seems still quite secure.Finding that it was both designed and manufactured in Germany gives me high confidence it will continue to work well for a long time.

Pro: Quality of product was good. Stayed where it was supposed to stay.Con: Still had blind spots with the additional mirror. Didn't work for me. International return. $65.00 in customs, insurance, and international re-stocking fee to send this back for a return. Part cost: $16.95.

It's a nice idea because the blind spot mirrors that stick to the side mirrors. It does take a lot of maneuvering to find the right position. Because my windshield is very sloped, so it took a while to get it right. Only about half of the mirror covers the blind spot and my own reflection, which I refer not to see. Convex mirrors are not the least bit flattering. I'll just have to find some stickers or something to cover the extra space.

This mirror is of good materials. This will last and will save your hide from any hidden cars or objects. I've been using these German made blind spot mirrors for 30 years and are worth there weight in gold at times when needed. I have the short stemmed and the longer stemmed ones. Nice large view and clear. I stick mine on my left side windshield, set it and forget it. It might take a day or two to get used to, but your feel naked without it........

Absolutely fabulous and probably life saving! I use them on the inside of my windshield. Really does a great job of showing me my blind spot in my SUV. Cannot say enough about how much I appreciate these mirrors! These are also great quality - do not feel cheap.
