Great for making Chocolate Mint Lattes
I purchased a bag of these at Christmas time and, while we enjoyed them as a snack, we really love them for making Chocolate Mint Lattes! The key is to put them in the milk before frothing and hit them with the steamed milk until you can see the tint of color added to the milk (only putting it in to the espresso fails to melt it adequately to fully release it’s flavors). No other mint chocolate’s that we’ve tried melt as well as these.They provide the perfect balance of chocolate and mint, with the brown chocolate outside and the green minty inside melting smoothly without visible oils or residue. Clean up of the milk pitcher is easy with just hot water and we really love how they improve the coffee so I was happy to be able to find additional bags like this available since they were only available at our local grocery store for a few weeks before Christmas.
