I’m so impressed
I love this soundbar, it was super easy to set up, basically just plug and play, even the firestick remote connected with one button click! I also love the subwoofer I got with it, so easy to set up and all is connected to each other wirelessly, so you can put it anywhere in your house as long as you have an outlet close by, the quality of the products are excellent! Sound is awesome, another nice feature is the Sonos stations and radio stations that come with the products! 5 star all the way!!

Noticeable improvement in voice quality & excellent tech support.
Before purchasing a Sonos Beam, I had a larger, different brand, soundbar. It provided a more immersive sound than the built in speakers in my TV, but I needed subtitles when watching movies because I was able to discern only about 70% of spoken American dialogue and only 50% of the dialogue in British movies. Now, with the Sonos Beam, I can clearly understand 100% of American dialogue and over 90% of British dialogue. I cannot hear a difference between the Sonos regular setting and the enhanced speech setting, but being able to tweak bass and treble settings was helpful. I no longer require subtitles when watching movies on TV.The setup, via the IOS app, is straightforward and it would have been quick and easy to get the Sonos Beam to work with my TV except that I ran into a problem. Sonos tech support was excellent. They ran diagnostics and isolated the source of the problem as residing with the TV’s accessory HDMI ports, and not due to an issue with the soundbar. - Kudos to LG support for correcting the issue in minutes, right through the TV internet connection. - Once the ports were back in service, the Sonos beam recognized my TV in seconds. Had I not had the problem with the accessory HDMI ports, total setup time for the Sonos Beam would have been less than five minutes. The IOS app is easy to use but it’s a bit awkward. Volume control is easy to find and use, but getting to the page that allows you to fine tune the soundbar is not intuitive. And I do not like the prominent advertisements for other Sonos products. Ads should not be a part of a control device. But that’s a minor point. I’m pleased with the Sonos Beam and with the Sonos company. It deserves a 5 star rating.

SOUND QUALITY & SMART AIRPLAY + ALEXA
Good sound quality by itself. I use it as a tv speaker, AirPlay through my iPhone, and love the Alexa feature that I can command for my smart home items.

Looks good, works good except for no numbers on screen
Great sound, easy to use but there are no longer numbers on screen to reflect sound level like my other Sonos speaker.

Truth and honesty that's what we hope to see in mankind
Customer should know that this product is misleading to the consumer when I received it on Saturday. My wife gave it to me on Sunday. I spent the whole evening putting it up in programming. It only need to find that it did not have any volume whatsoever when it came to streaming for my computer when you went to the TV the volume went up a little, but that is all I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon. The manufacturer told me that the profit margin on this product was great for Amazon and you need to go back to Amazon to get a return. Amazon told me to go back to the manufacturer so I sit here wondering why do I have to go back-and-forth why can't they honor the return policy? Meanwhile, the cost of this item has gone down but still being sold. Someday honesty will take place but for me it's not today. Think twice before you purchase they promise you all kinds of things but good luck on getting him to honor it my name is Randy. I have retired so I live on a fixed income, but the grid out there is overwhelming. Thank you.

Easy to setup, good sound, high quality
I held off on becoming a Sonos house for years. They are costly, proprietary, a walled garden. But, I've been searching for whole house systems for 20 years. WISA was promising but never went beyond 5.1 speaker configurations. I had wired my house with speaker cable all back to an Onkyo receiver but that only had two zones. I figured after 20 years, things would not get better anytime soon. I splurged on Sonos Arc Ultra, ERA 100 and 300 pairs, Sub and Mini Sub, Move 2, and Beam Gen 2. Now I can play throughout the house including outside.Sonos is not going to rock your house. It's not that loud. The bass is not room shaking. Everything is just nice. I replaced Kef, Polk, and JBL speaker with these. I do miss the very loud volume for some music but overall, Sonos works for gatherings and movie watching. The Beam Gen 2 does not support Trueplay with Android phone apps. This is a Sonos feature available on the Arc Ultra, Move and other speakers with microphones. To set up the speakers for optimal playback in a room, you need to use an iPhone as that will simulate Trueplay. After all these years, Sonos still doesn't support Android sound management. The Android app is still difficult to use as of June 2025 after last year's update. It's still missing features like list scrolling in music library. There are so many issues with the new app but I'm hopeful these will be corrected in 2025.I compared many, many other soundbar systems both in store and on the web and was almost set for a Sony or Samsung soundbar. A couple of things stopped me. Most major electronic companies have confusing lines of soundbars and this makes it difficult to compare features and value. I was also confused about whether the soundbar would even work with my TV ARC connected as specs showed ARC, eARC, optical, and were basically not specific about TV brand and compatibility. I purchased the Beam Gen 2 just as Sonos announced a 25% price cut. For a bit more money, my initial $300 soundbar purchase turned into the Sonos Beam. The Beam does produce low frequencies without a sub and that was a nice surprise. Dolby Atmos support is OK but there are no upward firing speakers so I don't really notice Atmos on a Beam, unlike the Arc Ultra and ERA 300 system downstairs. There is voice enhancement for streaming video and it's very good when viewing news and movies. This is the second Beam for a spare room. The other Beam includes the Mini Sub and a pair of ERA 100's but I don't notice much of a difference in the sound field for most television programs.
