I was scared it would damage my hair but it works really well and scalp friendly, they changed the kit not as one on picture but trust me it's really good, it comes with everything and a guideline too.

I’ve been using this for years and it has always provided consistent results.

It straightens my hair and it nice and smooth.

I've gone through quite a few brands of relaxer and none really worked as well as this one. It wasn't overly strong, it didn't sting, it smelled like a relaxer does so that wasn't a big deal, and it left my hair very soft after rinsing and wasn't dry or wiry the next day. Definitely going to buy again. I used to spend $80+ every four - six months getting my roots touched up and now I do it myself. Get some of those hair painting brushes used for dying hair to help keep the mess down. I followed the instructions but in the end did it my own way since I only do my roots there was enough left over for me to do it about one more time. If you're doing your entire head, I'd say just this one box will do it but you'd have to buy a second box to redo your entire head again. If you have long hair aka past your shoulders, then I'd get two of these.
