This is the perfect shade of dark red. The nail polish goes well and lasts for days. I really like the essie brand. I've never been disappointed.

This nail Polish is the prettiest color. It goes in very easily and quickly. It does not take long to dry. My daughters love it.

Beautiful color

It only took two coats and looks really good. I haven’t painted my nails in almost a year because the smells bother me so I was really excited to try again. There is a smell to the polish obviously but it’s not completely over bearing. I wear a mask while painting my nails and that helped a lot with this polish. I’d recommend that to anyone else who is sensitive to scent. The polish painted on smoothly and dried fast. I love that it is vegan and 8 free so it’s not chalked full of harmful chemicals. I got white because it’s a staple for me and I wasn’t sure how the scent would affect me. I had used Essie nail polish years ago and am glad I tried it out again. I’ll be buying more colors now that I know I like it Edit: It’s been over a week since I painted my toes and there is no chipping. They still look great and are holding up nicely. I painted my finger nails 3 days ago and 2 of my nails have chipped badly and a third has just started chipping. I updated my rating to a 4 star due to this. The polish works great for toes but not so great for fingers The polish only takes 2 coats and looks nice when dry. I’ll would still use this for my finger nails but would have to time it right for any events to make sure the polish was fresh and not chipping

I don't get any other nail polish anymore. The quality, longevity, and look, are above and beyond.

Favorite color of nail polish.Essie after sex. Impossible to find in stores anymore. Was glad I could find. I have a pedicure every 4 to 6 weeks that's my color.

Oh my... What a mess. I've been using Essie for many years, too many to mention. I always use sheer, light pink shades, like Mademoiselle, Sugar Daddy, Ballet Slippers, etc. Well, you should see my nails after applying Ballet Slippers. Looks like chalk - certainly NOT sheer! It also applied in ridges - does not cover nail evenly nor smoothly. I had to go to work with nails looking like a cheap mess - no time to remove and reapply. What happened to this trusted brand? I also bought Sugar Daddy - haven't yet used it. Stay tuned for review.... I'd hate to start looking for another brand. Update: company graciously refunded the cost - very much appreciated. And I tried Sugar Daddy - great!!!! So I assume it was only that particular bottle of Ballet Slippers. I will try again.

I was pretty much having to redo or touch up my nails daily with this. It's a shame because it is just a true pitch black color and could be a one coat black but better with two coats. Just not worth it for how much it chipped and peeled compared to other polish. Usually love Essie brand so this is definitely a huge let down. Used "here to stay" base coat and "gel-setter" top coat along with it which I usually don't have many problems with.
