I think they are pretty sturdy but still have some flex. I haven't had them for very long so not sure about the durability of the teeth. Just as a reference, these are a bit more narrow than the Ace barber combs. They are just under 7" in length. The fine tooth side is about 3/4 inch wide and the wide tooth side is about 1 inch. I really like these combs. I have fine hair and I think these comb through my hair easier than the plastic versions. I'm hoping they are easier to keep clean as well.
