Makes the concept easier
My relative's grand child was struggling so much with place value that I bought things like this.Having pretty colors makes it "fun" rather than a teary-eyed, "I can't do it" math experience.I recommend getting everything as colorful and as hands on as possible.A happy math student is a happy teacher and happy parents.She was taken out of school briefly last year because of falling behind in math and tools like this helped her really catch up.

Great reinforcement tool- my 11 yr old daughter began loving math again!!

Won’t wipe off
The color and clarity of the resource is useful. However as a teacher I wanted to write on them with dry erase markers then wipe them off. Unfortunately after I write on them I have to scrub to get the numbers off. Which makes it not user friendly.
