Great Help for Busy Households
I really like the HOBOT. We have big windows and a toddler at home, so cleaning can be a challenge. It sticks well and is very easy to use. For tougher spots, I usually wipe manually or run it a few times — but overall, it’s a huge help. It keeps my windows clean and saves me so much time. Love it!

I love letting the robot do all the work
I found that the Hobot 2S was very easy to use. It works best on a window that is not filthy. The cleaning cloth only cleans a small amount of dirt before you need a clean one to replace it. I ordered 3 more cleaning pads and may end up ordering more. Once the dirty to clean ratio of the cleaning cloth is to the clean side, it does a great job and doesn't leave streaks on the window. I think it will be my window bot friend for a long time. I am quite happy with the job that it does.

A bit disappointed
For the price, it isn't worth it.My expectations were to have a robot that would run by itself where we could start it, and come back after a few minutes to a clean window. We'd move it to the next window and repeat; freeing us to do other activities.Overall, it needs a lot of human help, doesn't always finish, and isn't very thorough. We started it on a best-case scenario: a large bathroom mirror. The mirror was already fairly clean with some water spots at the bottom. The Hobot successfully navigated to the edges and did the horizontal and vertical cleaning pattern, so it essentially went over everything twice. In the end, there were streaks where the sprayers sprayed, but it took care of the sink water spots pretty well. The cords kept getting wrapped around the faucet so we had to babysit it: making a 2 minute human job into a 10 minute babysitting job. I'd give it a 6/10 on the mirror.Next up were some medium sized windows. It did an admirable job of cleaning the outside of the window, which was pretty dirty. It was nice that it could reach the entire window, where we had problems reaching with our arms. It did a decent job and didn't streak noticeably. I'd give it a 7/10 on this window. Finally, we put it on a large slider, probably 3.5ft X 7ft tall for each side. The treads stopped gripping the window, so it slid awkwardly around in not-straight lines and had difficulties reaching the top. The side sensors couldn't figure out the sides, so it would get stopped on the edge of the window and continue to spray in the direction it was [not] moving, which was spraying on the next window or wall. It never completed the up/down pass because of the tread issue. We tried the outside of the window with a new cloth, and it continually yelled at us about loss of suction and never got more than 2 feet until we gave up. I suspect maybe there were some ripples in the glass that affected the vacuum. I'd give it a 2/10 for the sliders. So now we're left with an expensive robot that barely functions for what we intended. There are 10 days left in the return window, and I'm strongly considering returning it. If it could just do the windows by itself, even if they were a little streaky, it would be acceptable.I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.Update:I gave it another try and it still yielded poor results, so I am returning it. The biggest issue is that it won't clean without constant babysitting. I had to sit there watching youtube videos as the robot cleaned because it would complain about air leaks or would get stuck. At one point I realized that just pressing my finger in the middle of the device would cause it to work properly. Maybe the suction is poor, but I was using brand new cloths on fairly clean windows. In the end I realized that I could clean the window by hand in 5 minutes, rather than babysitting a robot for 30 minutes.

IT DOESN'T WORK.
IT STARTS CLEANING BUT NEVER GOES UP. JUST GOES DOWN. THE PREVIOUS VERSION WAS MUCH BETTER. IT WORKED AND CLEANED GLASSES AND WINDOWS. UNFORTUNATELY THIS VERSION SEEMS TO HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE ROTOR BAND.

Doesn’t work on condo sliders with no access.
I live in a condo. My sliders have no balcony just rails and non removable screens which is why I purchased the Hobot. The Hobot depth does not allow to pass the rails to the bottom half of the door because of the power cord sticking out. To the manufacturer: please modify the Hobot to be less than 3 inches then you will have a winner. The Hobot works great if there is no obstruction.

Use dry cycle first, change the pads l, and then run wet cycle with sprayer on for best results
I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical, but after getting one I am very impressed. It cleaned my four large windows in about an hour with great results. Instructions are easy to follow and it's simple to use. We also used it to clean the shower cabin. It's expensive but definitely worth the investment.

Way better than cleaning windows yourself or paying someone
This will save you money especially if you have large windows and hard to reach areas. The robot is easy to set up and requires no supervision. It comes with a bottle of cleaning detergent and extra pads. Customer service is excellent. Do yourself a favor and get this window cleaner!
