Great unseen pics!
With the name Martha Cooper you know its gonna have the goods. Some shots you may have come across before, but quite a few you've never seen. Some dope old subway shots that look like they could have been used for Subway art but were kept out. There is some early street art stuff which I don't care for but appreciate because it was done in the 80s. Some cool shots of Keith Harring getting down too. My favorite pics happened to be the signs that the graff writers did for many small business and corner stores. You'll notice the Connie's peice from Wildstyle as an example. some shots of cats hanging out to, some which looked like subway art session extra photos. All in all a solid book. Cop a copy, kick back and enjoy. cheers and thank you Martha Cooper!

Favorite so far!
I received this along with many other books on the same topic - this was the one I felt most drawn to and couldn’t put down. Most of the others had a really cluttered feel but this one has a very nice layout and great photos!

Amazing Photography
This book takes you through a journey of the NYC underground arts and Hip Hop scene during the early 1980s. Its almost like you are witnessing it all happen first hand. Great documentation by someone who was accepted by the shakers and bakers of 80s cultural creators.
