Didn’t work and the tools are garbage.
I took care to make sure the item description matched my PS4 model specifically. My fan had been working, but making noise. After installing this fan, within minutes the fan was blowing at full speed and minutes later my PS gave me a warning that it was overheating. (I had used a name brand thermal grease instead of whatever it was that came crammed in the box, BTW). Put the old fan back in and problem solved. At least the overheating. Returned fan the next day with no problem, so at least that worked. Wish I could get my Thursday night back…
