WoodWickLarge Hourglass Fireside Candle Premium Soy Blend Wax Crackles as it burns Perfect for Gifting

Purchased this candle on Prime Day. One of my favorite scents is Yankee's Pink Sands. It's great for the summer, but it is a sweet scent. I wanted something very different to change it up. The description for this candle (Fireside) says: bergamot, amber, exotic woods, and musk. Like others who've left reviews, I STRUGGLE to try to describe the smell. It is definitely NOT anything sweet, but it IS a DEEP, warm, luscious, cozy, homey smell. Not sure it SMELLS anything like a fire, but perhaps it's the musk that gives that "feeling". It would be a PERFECT companion to a fireplace going, or to a gas or electric log "fake" fireplace. Since it was burning in the kitchen and I'd been in the family room, the scent wafted to me in a very nice way, but I was unaware of any crackling that may have been going on. I don't care about crackling. To me, the presentation and most importantly, the scent is all important. It burned quite evenly for several hours and the wax is even upon cooling. It doesn't appear as if much was used. I am so impressed and loving this scent, I purchased 2 more at the Prime Day price. When summer ends, it'll be the PERFECT fall/winter candle, however, personally, it's so lovely, it could be used year round. WONDERFUL, elevated, rich, homey scent!

Wood wick always has great candles. They are durable, smell great. They have the perfect melt and last awhile ( unless you are me and burn right through them) I love candles. I purchased one similar for a friend and she loved it. Great product

I am all over the place with what brand of candles to buy and at what price points. I have learned Yankee Candles aren't very fragrant, except a couple floral ones. Bath and Body Works candles are my absolute favorite, they smell amazing. Problem is, if you like to burn candles all day (like me) you only get a day or two out of them. Now, Woodwick is proving to be a decent brand (and yes, I know they are owned by the same parent company as Yankee Candles, so it makes no sense). I love hearing the crackling too. I have a verey quiet home and it sounds like a small fire when it's in the kitchen behind where I sit.

Beautiful candle, lovely scent, shipped same day! However, the glass vessel is very fragile, and Amazon dropped the ball with packaging the candle correctly. It was packed flimsily; no bubble wrap, no outer box. It arrived in shards! Amazon was awesome with its follow-up; a return code was issued, I dropped the item at Whole Foods Market, and a refund was approved and issues the same day.

Smells exactly as described. Great price for Prime Day!
