This item does not alter the sound of the truck as it merely slides over the existing exhaust pipe.

Q: Will this fit a 2015 tahoe ?

Yes, just slips right over your existing muffler. You can cut back your existing muffler if you want, however I installed mine right up over the existing pipe and clamped her down!!! All Good.

Q: Will this work on a 2018 1500 silverado 5.3L Amazon says no

I’m not sure. I would call your local Chevrolet dealer and find out the part number for the 2018. If it’s the same number as this one then yes it will work
