Goodyear 6' x 3/8" Rubber Whip Hose Yellow 250 PSI

Very handy to carry around with a small oil-less compressor to pressure up car's tires. Goodyear has been a good quality products for a long time and hopefully this one will last longer than the broken old one.

It worked perfectly for connecting my air compressor to the hose reel mounted on wall.

I needed a new hose from my air compressor to my hose reel, I wanted to stay with a name brand, considering this is made by Goodyear. I bought it, it has 250 PSI working pressure, I could’ve got a Chinese hose on Amazon that was 300 PSI, but my air compressor only goes up to 150 psi anyway, so I stuck with the Goodyear… It seems to be a good quality product, the only thing I had problems with was the threads on each end, I guess I should have compared them by holding them next to the one I had taken off, but I didn’t, they seemed to bind up very quickly, I was very baffled because it says they have the standard threads that pretty much all air hose and nipples have, I put the pipe tape on the threads and I got it screwed in, but what a chore, it’s almost like the threads were not the right ones or maybe metric, it’s working fine, I just don’t like to force things like I had to force that, I used pretty much all of my strength to screw the ends together with long wrenches, I’m still baffled, but it’s working fine.

I am using this on the end of a 1/2" hybrid reel system and it is working well. Hard to beat Goodyear rubber. I also have other Goodyear rubber hose products and all are high quality.

Great quality, I expect this to last a long long time.

This hose is great! All threads are cleanly machined and protected with caps for shipping. Easy to install and zero leaks. Awesome product at a great price point. Definitely recommend.

I bought this as a complement to the Goodyear retractable reel, expecting the same type hose and BSP fittings. Hose might be fine but it’s definitely not the same type. Also, this one has (as hinted in picture) external NPT threads - not much of a problem but also differing from the retractable reel product. I was kinda expecting these inconsistencies so I’m keeping it. JWL has quality euro-profile couplings for NPT threads - or I could just cut the NPT fittings and use hose couplings.

Bought this to replace the whip that came with my hose reel. It’s a great length. The only drawback is that the ends don’t swivel. Other than that, for me it’s perfect. Better price than an equal at the “royalty “ auto place.

This is a heavy duty hose that should last for many years. The 6ft length I bought connects my compressor to a water separator and the hose ends are screwed directly into the fittings without the benefit of quick connects. I found the 1/4" NPT threads to be rather tight but it seals well so it's all good.
