Finally a seat cushion that stays firm enough to help me get up but very comfy to sit on.

Fits perfectly on my recliner. Extremely firm. A very good product and deliveries what it sells.

This is a good product. I have had it for a little over a week now and am very satisfied. It is firm but I do not find it as hard or uncomfortable as some have said, the fact that it is firm means it is likely to hold up for awhile. It does raise your height about 2-3 inches, so if you plan to use it in a car you should measure that distance from the steering wheel to be sure you will fit. It exactly fits my recliner and gives me relief from the masage cords and mechanism in the seat which caused me some discomfort. Seems to be solid material which should last. There is no carrying handle as apparently there was in earlier versions, and as many have complained it is very difficult to unzip the cover if you want to wash it. Good pillow for the money,

I am 550 pounds and I have bad sores and it is very painful for me on my skin and my back when I sit for more than 20 minutes. I have tried many other cushions, foam cushions gel, cushions, waffles. They all hurt after some time and they don’t support my back very well. This is the only cushion I’ve been able to find that makes it comfortable on my back my tailbone and my skin. I am able to sit on this cushion for an hour or two. I have bought it several times and I hope it doesn’t get discontinued because I don’t know what kind of magical foam they are using, but it’s the only one that doesn’t hurt to sit on.

I bought the grey covered cushion back in March and it was on the hard side which was good for me, I just received the new one in blue and it is soft. It's ok but not what i really wanted. I want to order another one in grey but I'm afraid that might be soft also.

I have had this cushion and attempted to use it on numerous occassions. This seat cushion indicated it is extra large with firm memory foam but it is definitely not comfortable. When one sits on it even for a short period of time, it flattens out. Not worth the price charged.

Yes, this item is made from very thick memory foam, but it's advertised that way. If you're looking for something less bulky, this isn't the product for you. What this cushion is fantastic for is placing your backside on it for long periods of time. If you work at a desk for any reason and remain there for more than a few hours at a time, this cushion will make your joints and back very happy. I do not find the memory foam to be too firm. I am male and weigh around 200lbs. The foam is thick enough that I do not sink in the cushion to the point it "bottoms out." If you're worried about the cushion raising you up too far, at my weight I seem to compress it roughly 2/3 of its depth. As such, I seem to only gain an inch or maybe a little bit more. Of course, because the foam is rather thick, when you first sit in it, it takes a minute or two for the foam to compress. When I first sit in it, it does feel like I've grown 3 inches, but after a minute, I feel normal. The cover is removable, and it isn't overly difficult to slide on and off. It isn't easy, but I didn't feel like anything was about to tear apart when I removed the cover to wash it. The only negative thing I can say about the cushion is that it has a very unique odor to it. It isn't overly offensive or off-putting, but the memory foam does smell a little odd. For this reason, when I received the cushion, I immediately washed the cover but realized the cover didn't smell. It was just the foam itself. I don't know how memory foam reacts to being soaked in water, so I haven't tried washing the foam, but I'm sure some kind of scent spray would mitigate the odor. That said, if you have a very sensitive nose, maybe this cushion isn't the best option. All in all, the odor doesn't prompt me to knock stars off.

comfy and sturdy

I bought an expensive office chair, unfortunately, the seat cushion felt like sitting on concrete after about an hour. This seat cushion made an incredible difference, I can now work for hours without feeling pain. Cushioning is good, feels like a tempur memory foam pillow. I had to air it out for a few days, the rubber smell went after about 10 days. I'll probably get another out of fear they will disappear one day..

The good cushions but I needed it thicker so i bought two.
