Worth it
Have had it for at least a year now. Confusing install but I YouTubed it. Haven’t had any issues with them and they keep my pc cool. I always had bad overheating problems and since I got these my pc has been chill

beginning to get phased out with the newish icue hub but for regular rgb fans it works well too

Great 5 years ago, not so much nowadays.
Works as intended, but it is not worth it over going with iCUE Link unless you already have pre-installed PWM fans from one of their cases.

CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT. An Amazing product that performs beyond expectations.
CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT. I rarely write reviews because so many others do so. However, I am so impressed with this little device I just had to. For Christmas, I received a new Corsair 4000X RGB PC case in white along with an extra set of three Corsair RGB fans to fill out the case. So I moved the "guts" of my old PC into its new case. I then needed to purchase a fan/RGB controller for the six fans I now had. 15 connections needed to be made. Six PWM fan, six RGB, two temperature probes and one SATA power connection. The back of the body is magnetized and attaches neatly to the wire tray. After downloading and installing the software from the Corsair site, I ran the program. It is fairly intuitive and after a while I had all my fans and RGB set pretty much the way I wanted. There's a lot to play with here. Then I started to "look around" to see what other features the Commander XT had to offer. WOW! I never thought a fan/RGB controller would offer so much PC monitoring information! Setting up the "Dashboard", you click on the 4 tile icon near the upper right corner of the screen. Then turn on everything you want to monitor. Not only can you monitor and adjust the case fans but the two temperature probes show the temps of the air at the positions you installed them. I can now see the intake and exhaust temps. I can look at my Processor, DRAM, Motherboard, GPU and HDD/SSD items showing temps and processes. All this from a fan/RGB controller?!?! WOW! Corsair really hit it out of the park with this device. I cannot find anything to dislike about this device. Just BUY IT!

a convenient way to connect corsair fans and lights
I bought this without fully realizing it wasn't what I needed. That being said, it does exactly what it says it does and makes controlling fans and rgb by corsair a breeze. Connect to a usb header on your MB and then using the iCue software you can control the fans and rgb easy.I did, however, buy this hastily thinking it was a replacement to my corsair AIO pump controller that stopped working, but this is not that controller. So, if you too are looking for that controller (with the 24 pin connector) it's actually called 'corsair commander CORE RGB & PWM Fan Controller'. Wasn't able to find it on amazon, had to buy direct from corsair.com

COMANDER CORE XT!!! SP fan setup
COMANDER CORE XT!!!Well, it sounds like the ultimate controller for Corsair fans, doesn't it? So, without too much research I bought it. The install went well. I was unsure about what software I needed at first, but I didn't ding them for this. Once I installed the ICUE software, I took the time to poke around and see how to control my fans. I found the most basic operations to be difficult and undocumented fully. So, I turned to YouTube and watched some videos. I have 9 fans, but no big deal the fans come with a controller LNC (Lighting Node Core). Let's add that in and see what happens. I select the LNC in ICUE and then select that I have 3 fans. Doesn't work. Did I wire something wrong? I pulled my computer back out and everything looks good. Did I get a dud? No problem I have 3 sets of fans with controllers. Let's install a new one. Still no lights. Back to YouTube. As one suggestion was to select 6 fans vs 3 that I actually have, ok now I get them lighting. Let's set them up now. Turns out I was able to get them to light up. But now I want them to work as one unit. Another hard-to-find feature called Lighting link. Got it. Enable it and select Visor effect. Initially, utilizing the Commander Core XT the effect worked for my 6 fans. After installing the LNC, the effect was cut in half. So, three fans now work properly and the other 6 cut out half of the effect. Now I go back to the Core XT and try to redo the set up. Now three of those fans are not lighting. I did end up settling on the watercolor option, as all the fans worked in that mode. I think maybe the LNC being on 6 fans is the issue, but why did I lose 3 fans in the CC XT and have to select 6 fans in the LNC? Thes units are made to work together. Anyway, this set up was very hard and took days of fiddling and still does not work 100%
