Our Border Collie has A LOT of coat! One of my dog groomer friends recommended this product because our dog swims often and his coat get sun bleached and dry around his tail end. His hair also tangles and mats easily after swimming. This shampoo is amazing! Even highly diluted, it works great and leaves his fur shiny, soft, and smelling amazing which is a bonus especially for Therapy Dog Visits! (I also use the Plumtastic conditioner diluted on his hind quarters) :)

I found out about this on a dog grooming site, and I'm so grateful I did! have two Maltese dogs, and their coat gets matted so easily that I have been looking for years for something that would minimize matting and help the ones they do get brush out more easily. I think I found the Holy Grail! The Plum-Tastic shampoo and conditioner both work well at keeping mats at a minimum. I can start de-matting with a pin brush while they are in the sink with the conditioner in. What doesn't come out this way usually brushes out with a slicker brush when they are dry. The added bonus is that they smell really wonderful-- not too sweet or perfume-y, just a pleasant, lingering scent that makes you want to snuggle your doggies. BTW the Plum-Tastic Facial Wash is also great. I use it all the time for touch-ups. Malteses tend to get their beards and face dirty when eating or sniffing around the yard, so it's very handy to keep around. As a side note, if you are going to use a slicker type brush, check it on your arm first! I was taught that by a master groomer. She said that if it hurts your arm, it is too rough for your dog. I was surprised at how many of the slicker brushes I had actually hurt quite a bit if I pressed even a little. I always would run my fingers over the bristles before purchasing, but that really doesn't give as good an idea of how comfortable or uncomfortable the brush actually is. Running it along my arm allowed me to gauge this much better.

I have two long haired golden doodles. Their Hair has never been cut. This Conditioner is outstanding. Their knots are easier to remove and their hair is extra soft. The smell is amazing. Definitely a game changer for me…

We use this conditioner in conjunction with the Plum shampoo on our 2 dogs. We have a Brown Lab mix and a yellow lab mix. On our brown dog, the fur becomes silky smooth and it leaves a shine and luster. On our Yellow dog, the fur is silky smooth and very soft to the touch. We love the plum fragrance and how nice it makes our dogs look, smell and feel.

I purchased this after reading so many reviews and looking for an alternative to what I currently use for my two yorkies, I immediately put it to use. Yes the Plum-tastic smell was very nice. I did notice a softness as well but its a conditioner and so it should soften hair. Also neither of the shampoo nor conditioner scent lasts after washing.

I've used Plum Silky shampoo on my Borzoi for over 20 years. I was thrilled to see Nature's Specialties added a conditioner with the same fragrance, then after I saw the ingredients, I had to buy it. I use it in my show dogs, to provide moisture and reduce static on their furnishings, and it works exceptionally well. It's also very affordable, as it's so concentrated. I am very sensitive to artificial fragrances, but this one does not affect me negatively. It's a fantastic product!

This is a wonderful shampoo. Smells amazing, and my dog's fur is shiny and soft after using it. I love that you can dilute it as well.

Very satisfied with these products. Smells great but not overpowering and especially, my dog was easy to style after ! Will be buying again!!
