This comforter is great quality and just perfect!! Very happy with my purchase! I have had this for a few months now and I just love it!!

I've never spent time on a cloud or surrounded by one, but I imagine it would be a lot like this. Very fluffy and breathable (but I would not say it's lightweight, but it isn't heavy, either -- it's insulating). The material feels luxurious, but I would never sleep with it, or with any down alternative comforter, without a duvet on it. I just feel gross without having a duvet, but I'm also a bit of a. bed snob, too. If that's your thing, then it's soft to the touch. I love that the pouches keep the fluff in their spaces so the comforter isn't lumped at the bottom, top, or sides. It was very clean, didn't smell, and the stitching was all there and as it should be. I washed it and dried it in the dryer before using it. Took about a day or two for it to reach its full fluffiness, which was perfectly acceptable given that it had been vacuum sealed to fit in the box. Just needed to breathe a bit. Couldn't be happier with the bedding. I'll buy it again when the time comes.

I was comparing items for the longest and since I didn't want to spend a ton of money for a really good duvet, I decided to give this one a try. Overall I have to say: I like it. It is quite heavy, (you easily break a sweat when putting a cover on ;-) ) and "not silent". But I do not mind that. It keeps you warm for sure- not hot! Which I prefer. I only give 4 stars though because the downs and/or feathers they used lose A LOT of little ones. Too much actually. That means they are not the best quality (but one must remember the price though, I know). I, i.e. have duvet covers in dark blue and black- and they are covered with these little feather lines, it does not look good at all. So,with covers in a lighter color that problem will probably not be a problem...

i loved the product listing photo and thats why i bought it. Soooo, the quilt color (grey) is not as pretty as the picture. In person the quilt has a brownish grey hue. This is a disappointing as i loved that deep gunmetal. Unlike other reviewers I did not find the fabric to be that rough, just a little more course/dull, which is also acceptable and i actually love a crunch!. The quilt is flat when you get it because it arrives vacuum packed. Once hung or laid to rest for a couple of days it starts to puff up. Mine is on day 2 of puffing and its looking good so far. The smell... hmmmn, yes it does have a little barn-yardy essence right out the bag. In any case the earthy smell doesn't really bother me ( yet). Day 1 smell was not so bad: Day 2 smell was not so good: Day 3, my husband commented he was going to collect eggs from the bedroom: Day 4, very little: Day 5 YAY!!.. smell free!! Yes i would recommend this quilt. I love that twist pleat design:) That said, am on the fence whether i should have gone with white just because i did not get the color i thought i was getting UPDATE: 1 year later! ..well the grey turned a strange shade of brown with weird brown spots and brown streaks on it. Im not sure why, i did not wash it, it is not in direct sunlight. I love this quilt but i cannot recommend bc i don't want to buy a quilt that looks bad after only 1 year. Very disappointed :(
