I purchased the silicone 12mm food-grade pipe for my camping shower, and it was a total disappointment. The advertised 3-meter length turned out to be a mere 2.5 meters. The pipe is incredibly soft and prone to bending, hindering proper water flow. Worst of all, it couldn't handle minimal pressure, bursting into pieces with a small electrical water pump. Definitely not worth the investment.

This product is an excellent silicone tubing-- it is thick-walled and not floppy. However, it is sold for food and medical supply, and the inner diameter (I.D.) is 5mm. What is needed for aquarium equipment use is 4mm I.D., so DO NOT buy this for aquarium environments. But it is so much thicker-walled and better than most silicone tubing I have run into on the market, so I would highly recommend for medical (oxygen machines?) or food (beer brewing). Very flexible, quite transparent but not completely clear, and it didn't do anything when I held it over a lighter flame for 4-5 seconds. Retains its original shape even after being kinked for long periods of time (it arrived with zap-straps on it, that pinched and kinked some areas, but it popped right back to its round shape when I removed the straps)(Silicone Tubing 5mm（3/16"） ID x 7mm OD Food Grade High-temperature)If I ever need more, I'd definitely buy it again.

Works great for replacing our Jura espresso machine’s milk pipe. WAY cheaper than from jura.

Quality of the material is very good. Highly translucent, but not completely clear. Choose vinyl if you require transparent. No chemical smell. Silicone is soft and supple, and does not slip off plastic fittings. Would buy again

It is quite soft, but the size I needed was only available with a wall thickness of 1mm, and so I wish it was slightly thinner and softer. Otherwise appears good quality.
