Stopped Working in 3 Days
It started smoking on third day of light use and stopped working.

This is an excellent saw. It can indeed be used one handed. It goes through a 2x8 like butter, exactly as advertised. It's light, powerful, and precise. I got a 36 tooth blade for fine cutting work. The arbor is 3/8", worth noting for blade purchases. The only thing I miss is a thumb screw on the edge guide clamp. It has a hex head bolt, so the hex key is needed to adjust it. Overall a great purchase.

I do a lot of wood working for fun projects at home and I build obstacles for horse training. I was toggling between a jig saw to cut shapes and my skil saw to cut longer straighter edges from plywood and to cut through lumber. I saw the rotorazer and thought that was what I needed but didn't pull the trigger because of the price. After more research I came across this handy little saw and found it a better fit for me because of the light weight and the smaller grip. After looking at all the reviews I ordered it and haven't looked back! This is a great tool and exactly what I needed, fits smaller hands, cuts through 2x4 posts without much slowing down, and it's easy to operate with one hand. Absolutely love it. I'm so glad I didn't go with the rotorazer that is way heavier and larger than this Worx saw which is plenty for what I do and a great value for the price.

Worx Worxsaw versus Rockwell Compact Circular Saw I am a cabinet maker and am frequently asked to do maintenance and repairs on many 75 year old to 120 year old houses that cover my neighborhood. These homes tend to have many tiny places (closets and cabinets) I need to squeeze myself and my tools into to make repairs. A traditional 7.5 inch circular saw cuts speedily but is too unwieldy for such small spaces as these and a reciprocating saw is frequently too slow and too big. I received the Worx Worxsaw yesterday after spending several hours comparing it to the Rockwell 5 Amp Compact Circular Saw (at nearly twice the price depending on the vendor) which is made by the same Chinese manufacturer as the Worx. Despite all the rave reviews for both saws, I had hesitations about each of them. My concern was that the 4 Amp Worxsaw wouldn't be powerful enough for what I do and that the poor placement of the lock release button on the Rockwell and the Rockwell's 3 extra inches in length would make the saw uncomfortable to use in the cramped quarters I frequently find myself in. I opted for the Worxsaw. It came yesterday and I put it to use today in a tiny closet I needed to partially demolish. My concerns are gone. I love this thing. It cuts through a 2 by 4 effortlessly. It cut 1/2" plywood right along the straight edge I clamped to the board without creeping so alignment of the blade to the footplate is spot on. Depth adjustments are easy. It fits my hand like a tailored leather glove. The lock release is easy to reach and the hand position is genuinely comfortable. It small size makes it incredibly easy to maneuver even in very tight spaces. It even sounds good (you can hear the healthy whine of the gearing inside). The engineers coaxed the perfect amount of torque out of the motor when paired with the thin kerfed blade. Most importantly, the cut surfaces are clean enough for gluing if you need to do so provided you let the tool do its job without forcing it. I rarely review a tool online. This tool is a rare exception. To be fair, I have only had it for a day and have no idea how long it will last. Nevertheless it feels solid. It is not too heavy or too light for its size. I have noticed that Worx sells a similar tool in the UK with a laser attached. I wish I could have purchased that as it would be a help for the kind of work that I do. My recommendation is that you don't concern yourself with the power output in comparison to the Rockwell. This is a stellar tool.

Good product. Need a strong hand though. Highly recommend. Very few of these handy circular saws available in India.
