Bellroy Card Holder (Slim Leather Bifold Design, Magnetic Closure) - Black

The Bellroy Card Holder's elegant lines, utility, and compact size make it a stellar minimalist wallet.I presumed this to be a simple leather business card holder.Wrong.This compact bi-fold presently holds 4 credit cards, A tile Slim, 10 business cards, and two folded bills. I could easily stuff another two credit cards in it without causing disruption to the product's aesthetics and functionality.The wallet remains sleek and without bulges.The magnetic closure snaps the Card Holder shut tightly and the wallet stays flat and closed.In Navy Blue it pairs well with the blue Vena Commuter wallet case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. In the Vena I keep my ID, most -used credit card, health insurance card, and gym membership card.With just these two items -- the Vena phone case and the Card Holder by Bellway -- I carry all my cards with me at all times in two sleek, compact packages.A simple flex of the Card Holder opens the card-holding space enough to smoothly retrieve and present a business card.When I buy an such as this I have two criterion :1) Will it last longer than 50 years; and2) Will I still love using it?With Bellroy that's an easy answer for me.I now own the company's :Travel WalletTravel FolioA4 work FolioCard Holder andClassic Pouch.Bellroy's prices are comparable to the Leatherology brand. I just prefer Bellway's aesthetics.All of the leather Bellway items I own are in Bellroy's rich Navy Blue, which is simply stunning.The Classic Pouch is black cloth.I have also tried the A5 Work Folio in black and the Card Pocket in Navy Blue.I like my wallet like I like my politics.Blue.Blue, Blue, BlueThe Card Pocket is only a smidgen smaller than the Card Holder, but the storage capacity of the Card Pocket pales in comparison to that of the Card Holder.I could fit only my ID, a credit card, a dollar bill, and my health insurance card in the Card Pocket. And they were all tough to get out of the zippered Card Pocket.The Card Pocket's interior was too cramped to accommodate a business card without rounding the corners.So I returned the Card Pocket and kept the Card Holder. I use this as a front pocket wallet. I like the security of a card holder with no open ends for the cards to slide out. I couldn't find one that was made to accept credit cards, but this one is made to fit about 4 to 5 credit cards on each side. The leather is exceptional. The magnetic closer is nice and is not bulky and does not add extra weight like some models I have seen. Is it expensive, yes, a little more than I wanted to pay. Will it last longer than a $20 wallet, yes. In my opinion the build quality and the higher end leather are worth what some would consider an extra expense.

Update- Bellroy sent me a replacement no questions asked. Hoping for better luck this time around. I like the size and overall design. BUT..the quality of the leather is questionable. After 6 months of very light use the leather seems to scuff & scratch easily. Today I noticed leather on the edges peeling. Not good.

This is a really rich & elegant item. The colors - inside & outside - are gorgeous. The material is really top notch, and the craftsmanship is impressive. I keep 5 cards on one side and 7 bills (US currency), folded once, on the other side. All that fits in there very comfortably and whole package is very slim in my pocket, which was my main criteria. I like that there is just one pocket each side, no extra layers of leather which would make it thicker. Very nice product and, in my opinion, worth the money.

I have now had this front pocket wallet (as I call it) for two weeks and it holds all of my cards. None of the cards have fallen out. The wallet has not ripped. The wallet does have that nice leathery smell. So after two weeks, I can confidently say that this wallet works perfectly and although a bit pricey, it is a good place to hold cards and IDs.

i bought this wallet because i own 2 businesses and wanted a slim wallet to keep all my business cards in.pros:- i love the design of this wallet. its why i paid for it and i do not regret buying it.- it fits all my cards, and some cash, and some business cards if i wanted to use it as just my main wallet.- it looks nice when you take it out and hand someone a card or business card.- it has magnets to keep it shut. (big deal)cons:- the leather is meh. come talk to me again when this wallet comes in a "designers edition". you can take my money!- if you don't put enough cards in they can fall out easily if you open it the wrong way.

I received this wallet a couple years ago as a gift and loved it. On a recent vacation, while getting gas, I dropped it without realizing it. When I went back to the gas station, it was gone. I went online and cancelled all my credit cards and also re-ordered the same wallet. The replacement was already waiting for me when I returned home from my trip. The wallet is small and compact. It fits very comfortably in my pocket and is perfect for carrying a drivers license, a few credit cards, and some cash. I used to stuff a ton of receipts, etc into my other wallets and they were always huge from an excess of unnecessary items. With this wallet, I avoid this because it's compact. I only carry what is necessary. I also like that it has a magnetic area that holds the two sides together without de-magnetizing the credit cards. If you're looking for something small and simple, this is perfect.

Exactly what i needed. Some places were selling similar wallets for even more than this. This is really nice quality leather and sturdy. If you're short on card on one side the cards tend to slide out when you open the wallet. The good thing is the wallet naturally closes in on itself so your cards don't actually come flying out. I actually prefer this as it makes taking out the cards easier.

Excelente calidad como todos los productos Bellroy, caben facilmente 10 tarjetas abombando un poco la cartera, o 6 muy comodamente, el color es vistoso (la compre azul marino) pero elegante, muy recomendable.
