I use this for by my bedside in the plugs on that wall. Very sturdy, gives me the plugs I need and a few extra in case I need them. Size is good. Use is just what I needed. Don’t know about the safety but that’s not a concern I have. Can plug in up to 6 devices with 3 or 2 prongs but mine are all regular 2 prong chargers for my iPhone and iPad.

Got these since most of the things blocked in were chargers. This helps eliminate the amount of charger blocks. Works great. Had over a year and no issues.

We live in a 1950s house and some of the rooms still have the old two prong outlets. We needed to put in a computer in one of the rooms, but there were no three prong outlets, and not very many outlets either, for that matter. This power strip was perfect for the job. It is a good length, great size, and accommodated all of the plugs we needed for the CPU, monitor, and accessories. In a non-grounded house like ours, the surge protection function will not work simply because we do not have a ground wire for it to utilize. So I cannot speak to that point, but as a power strip for plugging in multiple low-power consumption appliances, computers, chargers, etc. this thing excels! The USB charging ports were a nice bonus as well. Everything runs off a rechargeable battery these days, and old vintage houses like ours were not built with that sort of electrical usage in mind. This power strip is great for letting everyone charge their devices without having to fight for plugs. On a cautionary note, if you buy this and have an ungrounded house like us, this surge protector will not protect you from electrical shocks or power surges, and should not be used in places where it might get wet. I also don’t recommend plugging a lot of high power usage appliances or heaters and like into it because of the risk of fire. If you just need to hook up a computer, printer, lamp, and charge your phone, though, it’s perfect.
