Fit great on my recylener no more trips
No did not use it for a sofa chair :) that would be funny to read why right. But fairness works great and hold my body weight I am 230. I changed it to this one due to it being too small. This seat gives you more clearance to aim at what's important then the floor uh yeah if you have a small toilet seat

Functional toilet seat
Not much to say about toilet seats! This one is a plastic material. It was easy to install and is very easy to clean. It's not the sturdiest material and I'm a bit disappointed that the lid crashes down. I assumed it would slide down slowly on its own, but that's not the case. All in all, it's okay.

Good but thin
This seat is a good color match and good fit to my old almond toilet. The plastic is shiny and easy to clean. My only concern is the lid is kind of thin, and might break after awhile.

The seat is smaller than the toilet bowl and is very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.

I like it!
It's not perfect, but it has features that I really love. My favourite thing about it is that it's very easy to clean. It's really great for that! But I will warn you, do not use anything abrasive on these seats. That is the reason why I bought this one, I scratched up the last one I had. So no comet, ajax, magic eraser, scrubby pads etc. Also, don't sit on the lid of these toilet seats. I tried it and it caused a little damage to the lid. I don't suggest trying to sit on the lid to test it out at all. I removed one star for the lid issue. Honestly though, aside from the lid, I still really like this toilet seat!

Scratches on the product
I just received the toilet seat today. Although it was packaged appropriately, it came with scratches on both sides of the toilet seat lid. The scratch on the top appears to have lost some finish and is white underneath; on the other side, there is a pretty deep scratch. Overall, I don't expect this toilet seat to last too long.

Laughable that the product description says "heavy duty hindges"
"Heavy duty" hinges are actually small circumference plastic. One side came broken off. Unfixable and unusable. While the product boasts being made in Canada it was shipped from the States and took an extremely long time to arrive. Finally arriving damaged is very frustrating. Thank goodness for Amazon's easy return system.

Really high quality product! Nothing like the cheap once sold online and in hardware stores. It will last for year!

Missing hardware
It should have 2 nuts and 2 screws. I got only one nut. I just want a complete hardware pack. Don't want to send everything back. It's heavy and will be expensive
