Just what I needed, good quality

I must state first that I returned the adapter, but only because my plans changed and I no longer needed it. I personally get concerned when it comes to safety, especially electrical safety, due to a few past occurrences where objects caught fire or went pop! Neither occasion did the item plugged in work again. I always research thoroughly before buying. I obviously don’t wish to spend more than I have too, but cheaper with adapters is generally not the safest. One of the main items to check is voltage. Not only do you need a different pin adapter for different countries, it also needs to change voltage, or the item you plug in will burn out. If your adapter can’t handle the correct voltage, you need to buy a separate voltage converter. This adapter covers this, you don’t have to change any settings etc, it’s plug and go and your items remain safe. Surge protection is the other major feature. This will cut off any power supply if you plug in an item that has the incorrect voltage, or if it’s damaged, if lightening strikes, a Powercut etc. This will prevent anything catching fire or your electrical items breaking. Many items today are usb powered and there’s never enough wall sockets, this allows you to power and charge multiple items safely. Overall, time and time again I would happily buy this adapter. Bought so my Thai wife could use her hair straighteners. At first didnt think the Thai end was going to fit in the adapter. Only after perseverance and gentle persuasion did it go in. Told wife to leave it in permanently. Once in works great. Also used for their high speed phone chargers, however, whist they fit into the adapter, it renders the high speed capability as useless and it just charges at normal speed. We have two high speed chargers and both adapters do the same to both.

I used it for my item which requires a different plug type this works fine and build quality was great, would highly recommend. The plug also has surge protection which is a benefit.

As I recently purchased an item with Chinese plug, I searched for the socket which will accommodate it, but in the same time when needed take the EU and UK plug. And here we go, this little socket is excellent, well made, sturdy and handy. Great for people who hate to unplug and plug in constantly and have many mixed plugs. Go for it, you will not regret it. Actually if somebody made a power extension with such sockets it would be a hit.

This is a great adapter. I bought it because I bought a hairdryer which although it was 210v it had a USA plug on it. The adapter worked great. It's nice and small to pack and allows for multiple different plug types to be used in the UK. Great designed adapter.

This arrived quickly and works well in the AirBNB we are staying in. I like that there are multiple plug types built into it. We have several types of electronic devices here and this works great to support them all.
