UV50 Lycra Hood for Warm Water Scuba Diving - Black

I bought this to protect me from the sun while snorkeling in Florida and Caribbean. It works well, dries fast, packs into a small space, seems to be durable, doesn't interfere with my mask.

I spent 7 days snorkeling in the South Pacific. The water temperature was 82, but the sun was intense. This good provided excellent UV protection without any effect on my body temperature. It was comfortable, especially keeping my very long hair from tangling with my mask. I love it!

I have an extra large head and it works really well. The flared out base stays underneath my rash guard easily and definitely protects my head from torching sun and jellyfish among other seaweed and garbage floating on the surface of the water. Definitely worth the money and good quality stitching. You don't need sunscreen wearing this hood.

Easy to put on and really comfortable

Light weight and great for warmer waters. I did have to burn a hole in the top as the exhale bubbles tended to make it balloon out.
